Dr. Richard Rodman and Lexington Eye Associates are dedicated to providing the safest, most accurate laser vision correction procedures to our patients. This requires constantly upgrading to the best technology available. Dr. Rodman was one of the early adopters of the IntraLase® in the Boston area because of its ability to improve safety.
The IntraLase® is a femtosecond laser that creates the corneal flap during LASIK surgery. The IntraLase® is guided by a sophisticated computer with accuracy far superior to that of the microkeratome, creating a corneal flap of the exact depth, diameter, location, and architecture desired. We use IntraLase® to improve flap safety and accuracy during LASIK.
If you would like to learn more about IntraLase® technology or would like more information about LASIK surgery in the Boston area, contact our Lexington and Concord offices today.
