Dr. Suzanne Freitag

Dr. Suzanne Freitag is the Director of Oculoplastic and Facial Cosmetic Surgery in the Department of Ophthalmology at Boston University Medical Center. She is also an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Freitag specializes in surgery of the eyelids, orbit and lacrimal system, and facial cosmetic surgery. She performs Restylane® and BOTOX® injections, eyelid surgery ( blepharoplasty), and brow lift surgery at our Boston-area offices.

Dr. Suzanne Freitag was educated at Duke University and Jefferson Medical College and completed residency training at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Freitag completed a neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital and an oculoplastic surgery fellowship at Tufts New England Medical Center and Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary.

Dr. Suzanne Freitag is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a member is the American Society of Oculoplastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Eyelid Surgery ( Blepharoplasty)

Dr. Freitag performs eyelid surgery ( blepharoplasty) in the Boston area in order to correct the sagging, drooping, or bulging that affects the appearance of the eyelids. Eyelid surgery can make a person’s eyes appear youthful rather than weary or fatigued.
